MISSION STATEMENT
To infuse God's truth in every lesson, shaping minds, and hearts for a brighter future Beautiful indeed and of great importance is the vocation of all those who aid parents in fulfilling their duties and who, as representatives of the human community, undertake the task of education in schools. This vocation demands special qualities of mind and heart, very careful preparation, and continuing readiness to renew and to adapt. (Saint John Paul II, Gravissimum Educationis). As our Lord, approached Gethsemane, His heart's cry was that His followers be one in truth. It was for this that He sanctified Himself and went to the Cross. The world seeks unity and peace while denying the Truth Who Is the only Way to Truth and Life. Truth is the goal of all authentic academic endeavor; the truths concerning secondary causes, sought in the humanities and in the natural sciences, are necessary but not sufficient for Catholic education. Catholic education must order and transcend the secondary causes, guiding the young along the sometimes puzzling path to the Ultimate Cause, Whom the student comes to know as loving Father because he has interacted with parents and teachers who know and love the student and who know, love, and live the Faith. It is the Academy's mission to be "beautiful indeed" by assisting parents in their holy duty to form their children in the image of Christ. In Divine Hope, we lift our eyes toward the day when the answer to the High Priestly Prayer's answer will be visible to men and to angels.

How giving will work

1

Leave your name and email on this page. It’s not a commitment.

2

We email you once

When giving opens for this school, we’ll send you the link to this page.

3

Give and claim your credit

Give up to $1,700 ($3,400 for married couples filing jointly) and claim a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit, subject to eligibility.

The federal credit applies in states that opt in to the program. We’ll confirm this state’s participation before giving opens for this school.

Answers to your Questions

  • Does signing up commit me to give?

No. You’ll get one email when this school’s giving page is ready. Giving is always your choice.

  • Can I follow multiple schools?

Yes. Sign up on each school’s page and we’ll let you know when giving opens.

  • Who is Catholic Education Fund?

A scholarship granting organization built on the infrastructure of ACE Scholarships, which has awarded more than 121,000 scholarships over 26 years. Catholic Education Fund exists to bring the EFTC to Catholic schools, making Catholic education affordable for families across the nation.

  • Does my contribution reduce my federal taxes dollar-for-dollar?

For a qualifying contribution, IRC §25F provides a federal income tax credit equal to the amount contributed, up to the federal limit. The credit is nonrefundable, so the amount you can use in a given year depends on your federal income tax liability. Unused credit may generally be carried forward for up to five years.

  • My spouse and I file jointly — how does that work?

Current federal law limits the §25F credit to $1,700 for any taxpayer in a taxable year, $3,400 for a married couple filing jointly. Additional Treasury and IRS guidance may further clarify how the limit applies in certain filing situations.

  • Can I also claim a charitable deduction?

Not for the same contribution. If you claim the §25F credit for a qualified contribution, those same dollars cannot also be claimed as a federal charitable contribution deduction.

  • What if I receive a state tax credit for my contribution?

Any state tax credit allowed for the same qualified contribution reduces the amount of federal §25F credit available for that contribution.

  • Why does state participation matter?

For a contribution to qualify, the Scholarship Granting Organization must be listed by a state participating in the federal program for that year. ACE Scholarships and Catholic Education Fund will provide current information for participating schools and states.
